Why VibeID exists
People still exchange paper business cards because nothing better is in their hand when they meet someone. The "digital business card" category exists, but most products in it solve only the share step — print-replacement, basically — and skip the part where you actually do something with the contact afterwards.
VibeID is the missing follow-up step. Capture a contact via QR, NFC, scan, or Apple Wallet. The Pro plan then drafts a personalized follow-up email referencing your meeting notes, so the warm intro doesn't go cold while you're back-to-back. That's the wedge.
Who's behind it
VibeID is built by SkyGem, a small product studio. Operator: MT Pham. SkyGem is incorporating as a Wyoming LLC in 2026 (current product runs as a US-first sole-operator outfit until that completes).
We're a tiny team by design — every customer email is read and replied to by the same person who shipped the feature you're asking about. No support tickets, no sales BDRs, no eight-week reply queues.
What we won't do
- Sell your data. Ever. We don't have an ads model and don't want one.
- Route your data through AI providers that train on inputs by default. Our provider chain (Cloudflare → Groq → Cerebras → DeepSeek, with OpenAI as emergency-only) was chosen specifically to prevent training-data leakage.
- Lock you into proprietary NFC hardware. Buy any NTAG215 chip on Amazon and write your card to it from our mobile app.
- Hold your contacts hostage. Settings → Data → Export ships CSV + vCard on every plan including Free.

What's next
VibeID is in Milestone 1 of a longer roadmap. Current focus: nailing the customize- first onboarding, shipping the email-signature builder to v1, and getting the Apple Wallet + Google Wallet integrations to "tap and it just works" reliability on iOS 17+ and Android 12+. After M1 we move to deeper CRM round-trip and a richer team analytics layer.
If you want to influence what we build next, the fastest way is to email and tell us what you wish existed.
