The short version
VibeID sets two functional cookies and uses cookieless analytics. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, and nothing that follows you around the web.

Browser storage in the app
When you sign in at vibeid.link/app, your session token is kept in your browser’s localStorage (not a cookie) so you stay signed in. The app also stores small preferences locally — for example your last-used workspace view and, if you arrived from a pricing link, which plan you were interested in. None of this is shared with third parties.
Analytics — cookieless by design
We use PostHog for product analytics in memory-only mode: it sets no cookies and writes nothing persistent to your browser. Page-view autocapture is disabled; we record only explicit product events. Error monitoring (Sentry) likewise sets no cookies, and error reports are scrubbed of emails, phone numbers, and tokens before they leave the page.
No advertising, no cross-site tracking
We do not run third-party advertising scripts, social-media pixels, or fingerprinting. We honor the absence of consent by simply not needing it: there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to opt out of beyond the two functional cookies above, which are strictly necessary for the features they power.
How to clear them
Both cookies can be removed any time via your browser’s site-data settings (usually Settings → Privacy → Cookies and site data → vibeid.link). Clearing them signs you out of nothing and breaks nothing — you may simply see the default onboarding flow, and referral credit may be lost.
